Mark is a consistently elated (or disappointed) Norwich City fan and describes himself as an eternal pessimist. He owns 2 budgies, and strongly believes that cats are better than dogs. He also eats the same lunch every day, only changing between Summer and Winter and then reverting again.
Thomas is a career recruiter with 20 years’ experience working across the Technical recruitment industry. Most of his working life has been spent overseas working on international assignments in industries such as Construction, Energy, Rail and Mining. His current role with ESC involves developing relationships with new clients which allows him a free rein to speak with people across the Energy industry in any given location.
After spending fifteen years in Asia he is back to where it all started in (supposedly sunny) Hove, he is enjoying the ability to enter a new market and apply recruitment and business development techniques to a rapidly expanding renewable energy industry. Fortunately, the team at ESC are true experts in their specializations and more than willing to share knowledge with colleagues and clients. With an emphasis on quality and customer service ESC are not your typical recruitment partner which is a breath of fresh air compared to some “churn and burn” companies who purely manage people using strict KPI’S.
Thomas is married with three kids and spends his time thinking about all the things he used to do when he wasn’t married with three kids.
Nadia is an experienced headhunter specialising across the renewable energy markets both in the UK and internationally.
Her specialisms include EV charging, infrastructure, e-mobility, micro mobility, alternative mobilities including shared, SaaS and MaaS.

Lloyd is a dedicated and focused recruitment consultant with several years’ experience across IT and clean energy. He has consistently delivered on a plethora of mid-level to senior roles, with a real passion and deep understanding of the renewable energy sector.
Using his experience and expansive international network he can find solutions to extremely challenging staffing problems under tight time constrictions. Lloyd has experience across several sectors and has a real love for renewable energy and everything incorporated within it.
Lloyd lives on a farm just outside of Brighton, he enjoys spending time with the many animals he cares for including dogs, cats, pigs, sheep, horses, alpacas, and various other animals. Lloyd also enjoys riding enduro as well as being an avid sports fan with his favourite being martial arts.

Olivia is a researcher at ESC. She graduated at Brighton University in 2021 with a Digital Media Design Degree.
Having grown up in France, she is bilingual and takes an interest in languages. Olivia’s role allows her to research, communicate and pinpoint how to best help the candidate.
Olivia enjoys being creative and in her spare time makes digital posters and portrait designs. She loves being in Brighton and likes living next to the sea, she also enjoys hiking in the woodland on the outskirts of Brighton.

Sophie is a Researcher at ESC. She graduated from University in 2017 with a degree in Psychology. Since then, she has worked for a number of years in HR and customer service. In her spare time she enjoys socialising and staying active through various outdoor activities. She loves attempting to cook and trying new cuisines and restaurants.
Tess is the research and operations manager. She graduated from university in 2020 with a degree in journalism.
Tess has a keen interest in humanitarian, social and environmental journalism. Her role at ESC combines her skill set of researching, writing, and digital marketing.
Tess has a passion for cooking and enjoys experimenting and trying different cuisines, one of her passions is travelling, exploring new places and seeing new cultures.
David, a career recruiter since leaving university, co-founded MRL Group and helped spearhead its growth to pre-eminence in the European semiconductor market within three years. Building upon this initial success David has been the principal architect and driver behind the international growth, diversification and expansion strategy of MRL.
This has included the opening of offices across Europe and the diversification into related financial markets as well as creating the infrastructure to support a large, diversified and international business. David has now diverted a portion of his time to allow for the development of the ESC business – lending the wealth of his experiences.
